Dear Kingdom Prayer Mates,

We Can Pray On Target

Have you wondered why we easily pray amiss, yet we can pray on target. The difference is the path of our prayer. If we pray in accordance with the mind of God, we will be on target, otherwise, praying in accordance with our own mind, will or feeling will take us away from the divine target. Jesus said that we should pray that the will of our Father in heaven should be revealed (done) on earth. Indeed this sounds simple and doable too.

We have the Spirit of God living in us and he has the mind of God (I Cor. 2:9-16). In fact this passage ends by saying without any doubt that believers have the mind of Jesus. "Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?"  But we have the mind of Christ

The structure of this last statement is an affirmative type. It does therefore not require any demand in the future. It states a fact of what believers have now.

But then, why do you think we are unable to pray correctly. What do you think are some of the reasons for this off the mark prayers?
